Above is the finished quilt. I started if from the free blocks of the month club on the site www.forgetmenotstudio.com
Each month they'd put up a new block for us to work on. As we finish each block, we send pictures for them to post on their site.
We don't know what the finished quilt will look like until after the 6th month, at the end.
Here's
Toby, enjoying a just-pressed August block. He likes things warm, and
thinks all the fabric I have around is a siamese dream.
November
October's
assignment was to set the snowflakes in the sky, then in November, we
attached the house and barn to the bottom.
I changed the setting from what the site offered, to the right is what I decided to do with the blocks.
The original design had a gray roof on both house and barn, I decided I wanted them to have a white roof, and different trees.
Then I sent it off to my friend Ann, in MO, to be quilted.
